Community MiniGrants

We empower children to explore their interests and become confident in their abilities.

Hannah's Heroes of NC offers miniGrants to community organizations supporting children and families. Hannah explored her interests and was able to grow her confidence in all ways, from fishing to sewing to running bases to dancing and creating. We want what Hannah had for all kids: to explore and grow. We want children and families to try things and if they are interested in something, nurture their creativity and provide the spaces for them to be proud of their ability to grow. 

Rocking Horse Ranch

Our donations provide therapeutic riding lessons to individuals with special needs, veterans, and service members. Therapeutic riding focuses on teaching the participant riding skills while adapting the skills to whatever level is safe and most beneficial for each individual. Therapeutic riding instructors are specially trained to work with individuals with special needs and maintain a high standard of safety while also helping the participant to further their riding goals.

Tutoring Services

Hannah's Heroes of NC supports local tutoring organizations, such as Sylvan Learning and Huntington Learning Center, with miniGrants to increase greater access to children and families in need. Often these miniGrants are matched by company funds. Hannah's Heroes of NC ultimate wish is that this increased access to tutoring services helps children and families build confidence and big smiles- just like tutoring helped Hannah.

Hannah's Heroes of NC supports children's art programming across eastern NC. We provide miniGrants to local art museums, schools, and community groups. The miniGrants are used for start-up, expansion, or sponsorship of children's art lessons. We've supported the Greenville Museum of Art, multiple public, charter, and faith based schools, and a local youth artist giving back to the community.
